The “Biswa Ka Tadka” (the “Campaign”) is organized by ITC Limited (“ITC”).
Instagram users participating or seeking to participate in the Campaign shall individually be referred to as “Participant” and collectively as “Participants”.
If you are a Participant between the age of 16 -18 years, your parent(s)/legal guardian hereby provides consent on your behalf to enter the Campaign and to stand a chance to win Prizes as per the Terms & Conditions set forth herein. Failure to provide such consent will result in disqualification from this Campaign.
Participation in this Campaign is purely voluntary. By participating in this Campaign, each Participant is deemed to have accepted the complete terms and conditions of this Campaign available on https://candymanclub.com/campaigns/biswa-ka-tadka/terms-and-conditions.html “Campaign Website”) as well as the decisions of ITC, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Campaign. Successfully entering the Campaign and winning a prize is subject to all requirements set forth herein.
ITC reserves right to terminate, modify or extend this Campaign, at its absolute discretion, without assigning any reason whatsoever including extending, withdrawing, or discontinuing the same without notice, at its sole and absolute discretion and without any liability. All decisions of ITC in respect of the Campaign and the prizes therein will be final and binding.
The Campaign shall be live from 19/06/2026 till 31/07/2026 (“Campaign Period”).
The Campaign is subject to all applicable central, state and local laws and regulations.
The Campaign shall be run on the following social media platforms – itc.candyman on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/ or the Instagram App available on PlayStore and App Store.
Purchase of the Candyman Tadka Masala Jelly pack is not required to participate in this Campaign.
The Campaign is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram. Each participant is deemed to have released Instagram from any claims and liabilities that may specifically arise in relation to their participation in this Campaign by accepting these terms and conditions.
Only Indian citizens residing in India are eligible to participate in this Campaign. Participants between the age of 16-18 years can participate only with the consent of their parent(s)/legal guardian. Participants below the age of 16 cannot participate in this Campaign.
In order to be eligible for the prize, all Participants will be required to have valid address proof, government issued photo identity proof such as PAN Card/ Driver’s license/Voter ID/valid passport etc, or parent’s or legal guardian’s consent, if applicable a copy of which will have to be submitted at the request of ITC, without which the Participant will be disqualified from the Campaign.
ITC reserves the right to exclude any person from the Campaign on the grounds of: (i) misconduct or criminal record; (ii) tampering with the Entry process or the operation of Campaign; (iii) acting in violation of these terms and conditions; (iv) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person; or (v) for any other reasons, as it may deem fit and proper. No communication in this regard will be entertained.
The Participant must have a public profile on Instagram and follow our Instagram profile (itc.candyman) during the Campaign Period.
The following persons are not eligible to participate in the Campaign: Employees, Contractors, Directors, and Officers of ITC, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, Distributors, Web Designers, Vendors involved in the administration, development, fulfilment, advertising, judging and execution of this Campaign (“Promotional Parties”), Paid Social Media Creators /Influencers and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, and/ “step”) of such persons.
To participate in the Campaign, Participant should follow either of the following steps:
Option 1:
Participants can access the ‘Watch More’ link available on one of the 10 reels/posts/advertisements posted by itc.candyman with the hashtag #BiswaKaTadka or a reel/post/advertisement posted by Biswa Kalyan Rath with the hashtag #BiswaKaTadka to land on the Campaign Website for more information on Campaign content and terms and conditions.
Participants can access the specified reels/posts/advertisements hereinabove wherein ordinary situations are giving a twist and upload a comment with the hashtag #BiswaKaTadka to create their version of such a situation to participate in the Campaign.
The comment entered by the Participants cannot be sexually explicit or suggestive, violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, profane or pornographic in any manner whatsoever. The comment cannot be offensive to generally accepted standards of public decency.
Option 2:
Participants can access the ‘Watch More’ link available on one of the 10 reels/posts/advertisements posted by itc.candyman with the hashtag #BiswaKaTadka or a reel/post/advertisement posted by Biswa Kalyan Rath with the hashtag #BiswaKaTadka to land on the Campaign Website for more information on Campaign content and terms and conditions.
Participants can share their own version of giving a twist an ordinary situation by uploading a reel or video on their social media profile on Instagram (‘Post’). Participants will need to tag the itc.candyman profile on Instagram. The Post must contain the Campaign hashtags #BiswaKaTadka to be a valid entry in the Campaign.
For a valid entry, Participants must inter alia comply with the following:
The terms of use of the social media platform where the Participants upload the Post i.e., Instagram;
the Post cannot be sexually explicit or suggestive, violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, profane or pornographic, or contain nudity;
the Post cannot promote alcohol, illegal drugs, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any particular political agenda or message;
the Post cannot be obscene or offensive, endorse any form of hate or hate group;
the Post cannot promote terrorist acts such as providing instructions on how to assemble bombs, grenades and other such weapons or provide instructional information about illegal activities;
the Post cannot defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging or slanderous remarks about ITC, its customers or its products, or other people including the Celebrity, products or companies;
the Post cannot contain trademarks, logos or trade dress owned by others (except ITC’s trademarks, logos or trade dress of Candyman Tadka Tangy Pops), or advertise or promote any brand or product of any kind (except ITC’s products marketed under the brand Candyman Tadka Tangy Pops), without permission, or contain any personal identification, such as license plate numbers, personal names, e-mail addresses or street addresses;
the Post must be original and cannot contain copyrighted materials owned by others (including photographs, sculptures, paintings and other works of art, stills, or images published on or in television, movies, the Internet or other media, except such materials owned by ITC) without permission and cannot be plagiarized from any source;
the Post cannot contain background artwork, unless it is an original work of the Participant;
the Post cannot communicate messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which ITC wishes to associate;
the Post cannot depict, and cannot itself, be in violation of any law; and
Participants making statements which are contrary to existing law, bye-laws, public policy or established good practices shall be disqualified from further participating in the Campaign.
By submitting an entry the Participant warrants and represents that the entry, except the Candyman Tadka Tangy Pops Advertisement : (a) is the Participant’s original work, (b) has not been previously published, (c) has not won previous awards, (d) does not infringe upon the copyright, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity; and (e) and that publication of the entry via various media including Web posting, will not infringe any third party rights. The Participant will indemnify and hold harmless ITC and the Promotion Parties from any claims to the contrary.
Each Participant can have multiple valid entries during the Campaign Period.
Only once Participants follow all these steps and comply with all the terms and conditions of this Campaign, will the entry into this Campaign will be considered a valid entry. Entries that are incomplete or not in the format specified above will be invalid.
At the end of every 2 weeks from the start of the Campaign Period, one Participant with the most creative and funny comment will be eligible to get their comment featured on the Campaign Website and as a story on itc.candyman profile on Instagram.
At the end of every 2 weeks from the start of the Campaign Period, one Participant with the most creative and funny video/reel will be eligible to get their video/reel featured on the Campaign Website and as a story on itc.candyman profile on Instagram. The video/reel will also be reposted by itc.candyman profile on Instagram and the Campaign Website.
The featured posts and comments will remain on the Campaign Website for a period of the campaign duration_____.
ITC shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the Participants due to Act of God, Governmental action and other Force Majeure circumstances and shall not be liable to pay any compensation whatsoever for such losses.
After every 2 weeks from the start of the Contest Period, ITC shall post stories on itc.candyman profile on Instagram declaring the usernames of the Participants who have secured a feature on the Campaign Website.
The Participant undertakes and irrevocably and unconditionally permits ITC to cover the Campaign through various media including newspapers, radio television news channels, internet, point of sale materials, etc., and shall not raise any objection, protest or demur to such coverage or in this regard.
At the request of ITC, Participants shall participate in all activities relating to the Campaign including participating in any photography/videography session, interviews etc., and they consent to ITC using their name and image in promotional material.
The decision of ITC or the Agency, as regards the selection of winners and features shall be final, subject only to ITC’s approval. No correspondence or any other claims whatsoever, in this regard will be entertained.
ITC reserves the right to change, defer, alter or cancel this Campaign in part or full, or change any or all of the terms and conditions that are applicable, without giving prior intimation/notice of any kind and will not be liable for any consequential losses/damages. Any decision of ITC in this regard and in general with respect to this Campaign and the terms and conditions thereto shall be final, binding and non-contestable.
The decision of ITC shall be final in all regards and no communication shall be entertained in this regard. None of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to constitute a partnership or agency between any Participant and ITC and the Participant shall not have the authority to bind ITC in any manner whatsoever.
Neither ITC nor its agency shall be accountable/liable for any disruptions/ stoppages/ interruptions or cancellation of the Campaign due to any government restrictions.
Failure to exercise or delay in exercising a right or remedy provided hereunder or by law does not constitute a waiver of the right or remedy or waiver of other rights or remedies on the part of ITC or its Agency.
ITC or its agency accepts no responsibility for loss of internet connectivity, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, unauthorized data hacking, deletion, theft, destruction, virus attack, transmission interruption, communications failure, hardware failure or otherwise. ITC or it’s agency shall not be liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.
No liability or responsibility is assumed by ITC or the Promotion Parties resulting from Participant's participation in or attempt to participate in the Campaign or ability or inability to upload or download any information in connection with the Campaign.
ITC shall under no circumstances be liable, whether jointly or severally, for any loss or damage suffered or sustained (including but not limited to consequential loss), including for personal injury or property damage suffered or sustained or any costs incurred, as a result of acceptance of any rewards.
By entering the Campaign, the Participant hereby releases from and agrees to indemnify ITC and/ or any of its respective officers/employees from and against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of participation in the Campaign including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether direct, indirect, consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission, or otherwise.
ITC accepts no liability, whether jointly or severally, for any errors or omissions, whether on behalf of itself, or third parties.
The courts of competent jurisdiction at Bengaluru shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any and all disputes arising out of, or in connection with the Campaign.
Further all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions, or the rights and obligations of the Participants and/or ITC and/or Partners of this Campaign, shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
